The Pleasure Point Inn is an oceanfront wonder – a prime location overlooking the Monterey Bay with an amazing decks to watch the sunrise (this part of the bay faces east!) and surf.

Pleasure Point Inn has 3 independent vacation suites, Sand dollar, Dolphin and Seashell, each has private baths with jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, soda streams, safe and much more. Renting independent stand alone suites does not include access to main house, other suites or rooftop deck.
We are conveniently located along East Cliff Drive, which has beautiful ocean views, paths for walking or biking, and excellent surfing locations.The classic surf-town feel of Pleasure Point is yours to enjoy; try paddle boarding in the Monterey Bay, or watch the surfers from a bench along the cliffs.
Pleasure Point Retreat vacation suites have private bathrooms , gas burning fireplaces, private entrances and patios with ocean views. Our studios are fully furnished with linens, towels, dishware, personal coffee makers (uses k cups) refrigerators, microwaves, ice-buckets, safes, flat screen TV’s, and wifi .
Each suite does have a private ocean view patio to enjoy, bring your grill and have a cook out while whale watching at the Monterey bay. All suites have access to the ocean cleanup area for kayaks, surfboards, wetsuits. Parking is on site in front of your suite. It was a fisherman’s bed and breakfast in 1990’s, but there no breakfast served today. There are several good breakfast options within walking distance of the Inn.
Dolphin and Sand dollar are available.The rooms rates are for suites: $550 total for 1 or2 days, $750 for 3 days. Per room there is a $40 cleaning fee, 11% local tax, $1.75/day TMF required by Santa Cruz and $200 security deposit, full payment required 45 days in advance when time allows, cancellations will receive full deposit when declared 30 days in advance. Personal checks are accepted in advance. Payment to paypal under email information@pleasurepointinn.com will be charged 3% by Paypal. TMF required by Santa Cruz can be paid at checkin.
Check-in is 4pm, check-out is 11am. When possible, we will accommodate late check out and early check in. We will provide extended parking for your arrival and departure days when able. We do not accommodate pets.
When renting the entire INN
The Pleasure Point Inn functions as a retreat with rooms containing outstanding amenities along with being surrounded by two huge patios; one is a 1000 square foot deck on main level with ocean views while the other is a 800 square foot roof deck overlooking Monterey Bay. There is a huge kitchen with full sized oven, full sized refrigerator and dishwasher available to all guests. The hotel has an ice machine, large hot water heaters, a generator and a large gas grill on roof. The opportunities are endless for events with space available for workshops, ceremonies, charity events, mini conferences and off-site corporate functions.
